Professional Summary
Mr. Bagwell's practice includes all areas of intellectual property law, including preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the United States and abroad. His work focuses primarily upon electronics, computer systems, e-commerce and business method patent preparation and prosecution.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Bagwell was employed in the computer industry for over ten years, where he developed and managed computer and internet applications for companies such as SBC and Anheuser-Busch. During his career, Mr. Bagwell has worked with a variety of computer technologies and languages including Oracle, Unix/Linux, and numerous Microsoft products and development languages.
Mr. Bagwell received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Saint Louis University in 2007 and he was elected into the Order of the Woolsack, an academic honor association. He also received academic excellence awards in Contracts and Legal Research and Writing. Mr. Bagwell received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, and Minor in Mathematics in 1998 from the University of Missouri - Columbia.
