Professional Summary
Mr. Roedel engages in a wide ranging intellectual property practice, including litigation, chemical patent preparation and prosecution, and antitrust cases. He has developed substantial expertise in chemical and chemical engineering patent matters, both organic and inorganic. His prosecution, counseling and litigation practice has ranged over an exceptional wide range of chemical and chemical engineering subject matter including organic synthesis, catalysis, electrochemistry, polymers, protein chemistry, immunoassays, chromatography, sulfuric acid technology, chemical engineering separations and process design, process control, photochemistry and lithography.
Mr. Roedel is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
In addition to his commitment to Senniger Powers, Mr. Roedel is also an adjunct assistant professor of patent law at Saint Louis University, is a member of the St. Louis Community College Foundation Board, a member of the St. Louis Community College Building Corporation Board, is Past-President of the St. Louis Community College Board of Trustees, and is a member of Phi Alpha Delta, Alpha Sigma Nu and Tau Beta Pi.
Mr. Roedel was a participant in a Roundtable discussion of patent quality held in Los Angeles on Monday, May 10, under the sponsorship of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Mr. Roedel was selected for inclusion in the 2011 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® and had previously been selected in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010.
