Professional Summary

Ms. Petrillo has prepared and prosecuted chemical and pharmaceutical patent applications since leaving the Patent Office in 1990. She has planned and implemented worldwide patent strategies for large corporations and universities, as well as smaller, closely held companies. Ms. Petrillo has rendered numerous validity, infringement and freedom-to-operate opinions in a variety of technologies, including herbicides, biocides, vaccines, chemotherapeutics and biopharmaceuticals, among others.

Ms. Petrillo is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (Patent, Trademark and Copyright Steering Committee; Past Chair of the Trademark, Copyright and Unfair Competition Subcommittee) and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
