At Senniger Powers, we not only recognize the importance of providing excellent legal services to our clients but also appreciate the moral importance in helping people in need in the communities in which we live and work. Our professionals participate meaningfully in a wide array of pro bono legal work and voluntary non-legal efforts that make a difference in the lives of others in their communities.

The Firm is devoted to making pro bono work a vital part of our professional culture. We value this public service tradition, which allows our lawyers to use their skills to address not only the needs of clients, but also matters of public concern. In addition to free representation that our lawyers provide on an individual basis, the Firm performs pro bono work for organizations such as Legal Services of Eastern Missouri and St. Louis Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts. One of our attorneys recently received the 2011 award from Legal Services of Eastern Missouri for outstanding pro bono dedication in providing legal assistance to elderly and low income people.

In addition to pro bono legal work, we feel it is vital that we assist members of our communities through non-legal commitments. Our legal professionals are involved in community service on the local, state, and national levels. We have provided below representative examples of the various commitments our legal professionals make to help serve the community:

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

  • Lay Review Committee member involved in grant review and community outreach.

Women's Foundation of Greater St. Louis

  • Board member and Chair of Grant Committee to fund charities that improve the status of women and girls in the region.

Motion for Kids

  • St. Louis Bar Association outreach/community service for children in foster care or with a parent in prison.

In addition to the efforts listed above, many of the legal professionals and staff support numerous other causes that they find personally meaningful.
