Senniger Powers to Sponsor Missouri Pavilion at 2007 BIO International Convention
Senniger Powers is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Missouri Pavilion at the Biotechnology Industry Organization’s (BIO) 2007 International Convention, to be held May 6-9 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. BIO is the international biotechnology community’s largest annual meeting. With one of the leading life sciences practice areas in the region, Senniger Powers is the only law firm sponsoring the pavilion. This marks the third straight year of Senniger Powers' sponsorship of the Missouri Pavilion.
This year’s convention will focus on the need to translate biotechnology research into patient-relevant advances in human health, biotechnology and its impact on global health and the future of biotech. The sessions will feature keynote speeches by experts, leaders and revolutionaries in the industry, including:
- Michael J. Fox, founder of The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research
- The Honorable Edward M. Kennedy, chairman of the Committee on Health, Education, and Pensions
- Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan
The convention will draw more than 20,000 industry attendees, as well as 300 public officials from more than 30 countries, and will host more than 1,800 exhibiting companies. The program focuses on highlighting biotechnology and the industry’s global impact.
