Senniger Powers Hosts Presentation on New Patent Rules.

Kathleen Petrillo will lead a breakfast presentation on the new USPTO rules that go into effect on November 1, 2007. The new rules limit the number of continuation applications and the number of claims an applicant may present in any single application. Ms. Petrillo will offer recommendations of actions that should be implemented before November 1 to better position existing patent portfolios against the retroactive effects of the new rules and will recommend strategies to follow regarding new and existing patent families after November 1.

The program, "Unraveling the Dramatic Patent Office Rule Changes," will be held on October 3 at the St. Louis History Museum.
