Senniger Powers Co-Presents Manufacturing Summit - Senniger Powers, along with RSM McGladrey and Sigma-Aldrich, will present "Manufacturing Summit: Sophisticated Innovation and Beyond," a St. Louis Business Journal seminar. Expert speakers will discuss sophisticated innovation strategies, brand protection in a global market, and pulse points that will affect companies in the future. The one-hour early bird program will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at the Missouri Botanical Garden, 4344 Shaw Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri. Senniger Powers Sponsors I2P Competition - Semifinals are being held November 9 and 10, 2007 for the student level of the I2P (Idea to Product) Competition at St. Louis University's John Cook School of Business. Senniger Powers is a sponsor of the competition, and attorney James Harper is a volunteer judge.The competition is hosted by the the Smurfit-Stone Entrepreneurship Center at SLU. Senniger Powers Sponsors Olin Cup Competition - Judging will take place November 8, 2007 in the "Elevator Pitch" round of the 2007 Olin Cup Competition, a yearly event that promotes the formation of new business ventures. Senniger Powers is a proud sponsor of this event, and its attorneys Nicholas Keppel, Jason Conway, and Richard Brophy are volunteer judges. The Olin Cup is hosted by the Skandalaris Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Washington University's Olin School of Business. Senniger Powers Hosts Presentation on New Patent Rules - Kathleen Petrillo will lead a breakfast presentation on the new USPTO rules that go into effect on November 1, 2007. The new rules limit the number of continuation applications and the number of claims an applicant may present in any single application. The program, "Unraveling the Dramatic Patent Office Rule Changes," will be held on October 3 at the St. Louis History Museum.
