Senniger Powers has sponsored a vegetable garden at Kingdom House, a social service agency near Downtown St. Louis that serves low-income families. Senniger Powers volunteers help plant, weed, harvest and till throughout the growing season. The food grown will be used in the daycare and aftercare programs as well as the food pantry.
Attorney Jennifer Hoekel works directly with other Kingdom House volunteers to facilitate coordination of activities. This is a new project for them and the volunteers from Senniger Powers are very excited to contribute.
The primary goal of Kingdom House is "the provision of social and community services for families, children and individuals under stress, including child care, and direct material relief. Kingdom House is a United Way Agency".
