Senniger Powers Partner Honored by the American Bar Association

Senniger Powers is proud to announce that the American Bar Association recently selected David Crawford as a member of the Honorary Advisory Committee for the 2009 National Pro Bono Celebration. The ABA Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service will hold the inaugural celebration from Oct. 25 to Oct. 31, 2009.

Crawford, a partner in Senniger Powers' mechanical patent practice, currently serves as president of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, where he has made it a priority to recognize pro bono activities in the area.

"I'm passionate in my commitment to pro bono activities and proud of our profession's long history of service to those who need it the most," Crawford said. "This is an outstanding opportunity to highlight this work and honor the silent heroes in the profession."

The National Pro Bono Celebration will highlight the incredible difference that pro bono services make to society. Whether it is preparing wills for firefighters, seeking orders of protection for battered women with limited means, or fighting for civil rights protections, lawyers take on many pro bono cases without expecting any public recognition in return. The National Pro Bono Celebration will not only recognize the selfless acts of America's lawyers, but also recruit more pro bono volunteers and help mobilize community support at local levels.
