IPEC Releases Plan on IP Enforcement
On 6/22/2010 the Office of the U.S. Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator (IPEC) released the 2010 Joint Strategic Plan on Intellectual Property Enforcement. The Plan identifies 33 enforcement strategy actions to help combat intellectual property infringement. The actions fall within six categories: (1) leading by example; (2) increasing transparency; (3) ensuring efficiency and coordination; (4) enforcing our rights internationally; (5) securing our supply chain; and (6) building a data-driven Government. The Plan was developed by IPEC in conjunction with other Federal agencies. IPEC also considered over 1,600 public suggestions.
