Fleischut Speaks on Privilege and Confidentiality

Paul Fleischut recently spoke to members of the St. Louis Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel on "Attorney-Client Privilege and Confidentiality." He focused specifically on the policies behind the attorney-client privilege, and the various tests used by courts in analyzing whether communications qualify for the privilege. He then moderated a panel discussion featuring in-house counsels Hope Abramov (Bunge), Kimberly Shaw Elliott (EverBank), and Tyrus Ulmer (Boeing) on how e-mail policies must balance attorney-client privilege with the business need to communicate. Mr. Fleischut writes and presents regularly on ethics and professionalism issues.
